On my return I was chosen to co-design Jerry Springer the Opera and be sole designer for the award winning musical Rocket Science, which just recently won the Richard Rodgers Award. This was in conjunction with the MA Musical theatre course at RSAMD both directed by Andrew Panton and went to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009.
In my final year I designed Black Snow a play by Mikhail Bulgakov which was directed by Neil Doherty and was also shortlisted for the National Youth Music Theatre’s Associate designer job for their production of Sweeney Todd. On graduating I was employed by the RSAMD to design the set for Edwin Morgan’s play, The Play of Gilgamesh directed by Tam Dean Burn.
I have since been employed as a scenic artist by the Pitlochry Festival Theatre in September 2010, to work on their first panto Cinderella, directed by John Durnin and designed by Adrain Rees. That contract has ended and now I am designing for the theatre company SeenUnSeen, a show called ‘DEATH, DUMB, BLONDE’ directed by Neil Doherty. This took place at the Citz’s Studio space on 9-12th of March,
